I feel like a year is too long to let pass for a new post/update on goings-on.

I don't really have much to say in the way of music.

I've been busy going back to University to get a degree in something I will actually enjoy.

I originally went to college and received my degrees in criminal justice and business management, but I didn't really find work that interested me.

After I left the Air Force I was going through depression while coping with my disabilities and felt useless so I went from one school to another changing majors and ultimately not settling on anything. But after healing over time I'm finally back in school at 34 years old and this time I'm making an effort to push through.

However I feel like the classes I've been taking have instead encouraged me want to pursue different careers. I am currently majoring in accounting with a focus in forensics. I wanted to still make use of my criminal justice degree with forensic accounting and investigate financial fraud and audits. Yet I'm currently taking a business law class and for some reason law just seems so cut and dry for me that I feel like I get it. Not only do I comprehend it, but I actually enjoy it. The assignments are a lot of case analysis papers, but I enjoy the research and the critical thinking behind it.

Next month will be my 15 year anniversary with my wife which is wild. I love and appreciate her so much and I'm so glad to have my best friend stick by my side all these years. I never knew what my future held when I was straight out of high school, but I feel like every challenge in my life I've made the right decisions no matter how difficult they may have been.

Aside from that, since I've been back in school my music production has slowed down and I'm really only making music now as a way to take a break from class and studying. I feel like my inspiration is a bit squashed with the occasional flickering moments. So if there is anyone missing me or my music, my bad. Ill be able to devote more time towards music again later in August once my summer semester is over.
