Wow this is really good and makes me feel super happy. It sounds very retro. Its like a tune you'd hear while walking through town in an 8bit game. There's so much to the melody too. It has a lot of layers that work together so well. Great song!

octopus58 responds:

Thank you very much! I tried to go for a different approach than usual for this track with how the progression worked to give it more layers, so I'm really happy you noticed :D

This an awesome upbeat fight song. Like I'm kinda happy I am either being obliterated or destroying. Its the kind of song where you can't even rage quit lol. And the key change is just *chef's kiss* Great job on this song Octopus!

octopus58 responds:

Thank you so much!! You know I love my key changes haha

This is such an epic song. It really does resonate those retro 90s dance/tribal sounds with like a quirky melody but such an upbeat and heavy drumbeat. Great job on this one and making great music as always.

octopus58 responds:

Thank you!! I'm glad you feel that I captured the 90s sound here :D

I think even with the vocals its still a soothing and chill song. It works. I like it :D

NikoN1nja responds:

I see why you might think that, but there's no vocals. It's a guitar sample :)

Thanks for the review anyway!

This is very well done. Feels cinematic too. Beautiful melody and harmony going on.

crispybatteryacid responds:

thank you very much Mr. Black!

Oh this is epic. Feels both uplifting as it does sorrowful.

crispybatteryacid responds:

I’m glad to hear you enjoy it! I, for one, hate it. Haha.

I’m gonna remaster it sometime, once I’ve learned a bit more. Thanks for stopping by!

This is reminiscent of a song in a John Hughes movie. I totally love the vibes and the progression of it all.

Thank you ! It's my take from the soundtrack of the 1982 movie "Tootsie".
The track is called "It Might Be You" and originally sung by Stephen Bishop, so I had a go and added my personal flair and made it an instrumental.

You just needed a little more time to perfect this one and it really shows. There is a lot of talent going on in this track. I love the guitar and the bass flowing together. Feels a bit like older 70s Muzak but with a worldly sound. But also has a bit of a hip hop and Latin fusion. Its definitely a great combination of sounds. Great job and keep going!

octopus58 responds:

Thank you so much! I really wanted to just combine everything that feels good when I think of the beach haha. I really appreciate your review!

I love this one. Reminiscent of the original Sims game. I could imagine myself building a beautifully furnished house while this song plays in the background. The wind instruments have a lifting and comforting feeling that compliment the other instrumentals. Great job on this one and can't wait to hear more!

octopus58 responds:

Thank you so much! I never played the original Sims but I've seen it, so I can definitely see this as a song that plays while building in a game like that :)

I really appreciate the detailed review, and aside from the song I uploaded this morning I got two more left from this cartoon :D

This is amazeballs! I remember that being used in the Aughts. Lol. But for realio I really like the smooth vibe and flow of this song. Very upbeat and positive.

Vista-Sound13 responds:

Well, I'm glad you remember them—unless they were traumatic... Anyway, thanks for sharing your thoughts. Much appreciated! :)
