Diggin' this. Moving my head to the beat. Well done man.

Kurtiskong responds:

thank you! <3

Alright so you seem to noticed the intro was lacking. I'm not going to tell you how to fix it because I think you know what you want it to sound like and that's perfect. Even if you wanted it to sound just like you completed it. I mean I liked the sample used for the intro. In fact I like your overall use of the sample and the drum following along, but then I start to get lost with the heavier sound. I feel like it works for a bit but gets a little heavy. Then towards the end of the first half before the silent moment the sample is over powered and I feel like it falls off the tracks just a little bit.

The track continues after the momentary silence and I like the second half's start up, but I think it builds up too quickly or possibly the heavier sound over powers the track again.

So conclusion, I love the sample and how you used it. I enjoyed the drums very much. Hell the drums and vocal sample go well together.
I'm not a fan of the intro nor the overpowering sound of what I think is orchestral instruments. I could be wrong on what it is, but its too much.

Don't take this wrong or even let it discourage you. I am simply one listener and you are a great mind. Keep up your work and press on!

Thanks so much for your review! It means a lot! I definitely understand everything you're hitting on here. The intro was definitely lacking and I think at this time I sort of had a writers block and was more or less too excited to finish this after finally having some good ideas that worked out for me. Listening to this again a year later, this really sounds so bland... I could have done way better than this. Orchestral instruments are hard to master because they hit so many frequencies and sound really diminished if you take away even part of its frequency to try to make amends for the other instruments/synths going on around it. The heavy sound was just a byproduct.

Thanks again for your review and I'm glad you enjoyed it! Give a listen to my newer pieces if you'd like to hear more!

I don't know why but I want more bass!!! I like the riff towards the end of the track, but damn its got me wanting more just for the riff. Good stuff.

Such a triumphant sound. Definitely a spacy sound. Good flow. Keep it up man.

Thanks for the review man!

I like it. Smooth feels mate. Some great drums for the entire piece. Keep up on hip hop tracks. Even if its your first try you could actually turn out to be great at it.

Cimba responds:

I really appreciate that! Thanks so much for leaving a review. It really helps me get better to hear what people think. I had fun with this so keep an eye out for more!

Beautifully made. Holds true to the idea of a dream. At least in my perspective.

Enjoyable. Such fluid motion. Great sound.

Gee, thanks bro! 😁

The guitar... duuuude. Santana. Drums. Chill. Overall vibe... Just keeps giving.
